Chay Ya USA is a 501 (c) 3 charity  formed to support the work of the Chay Ya  network to establish health centers, birthing centers and schools in remote mountain villages of Nepal. Working closely with local government and  Chay Ya Nepal assures the efficient and economical use of  funds. We are proud to say that 100% of Chay Ya USA donations are applied directly to the projects. These include: expanding health centers and building new birthing centers, adding vegetable gardens at the Kalaili School for disabled children, and rebuilding and expanding schools damaged by earthquake and flood. In addition to capital building projects the Chay Ya netowrk provides ongoing support for food, clothing, school books, teachers and staff to carry on this vital work.

I was especially impressed with how much the American dollar can do in Nepal. I appreciate Bill’s hands-on work with Chay Ya Nepal and the collaboration of all the Chay Ya network.
